About me
Former people pleaser, with overachiever tendencies, & a deep desire to fit in.
Throw in some wild childhood religious undertones, mix with a sprinkle of existential dread, & season with some
✨generalized anxiety✨
Instead I powered through my 20s and held onto those automatic patterns & behaviors that were
killing my spirit,
trashing my relationships,
and making it impossible for me to live my most authentic life.
While my journey towards healing involved more than just a 2 minute Mia Thurmopolus makeover montage, I did the work to understand how my own genetic + attachment + environmental patterns were keeping me stuck in my own bullshit.
So now, with years of trauma therapy expertise as a licensed psychologist + commitment to my own therapeutic healing, I’m prepared to embark with you in your redemptive arc era.
Are you ready for it?

EXPERIENCE
For the past 12 years, I’ve provided specialized trauma therapy to individuals impacted by significant trauma & stress, across many different settings, including private practice, community mental health, psychiatric hospital, & non-profit.
I completed my pre-doctoral residency at a specialized trauma & stress community mental health clinic & postdoctoral residency at a non-profit & private practice hybrid clinic, where I was closely mentored and supervised by a top Bay Area EMDR certified expert in trauma & stress.
I completed my doctoral dissertation in attachment, trauma, environmental, & economic stress. I’ve also consulted on various projects & research on domestic & sexual abuse in religious communities.
I’m EMDR trained (Part I & 2) and am seeking certification through EMDRIA.
I completed Level 1 and Level 2 experiential retreats, as well as 40+ hours of clinical training in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy through Polaris Insight Center.
I am a member of the Bay Area Psychological Association and American Psychological Association.
I attend my own individual therapy weekly because I believe that therapists have a duty and commitment to doing their own personal growth and healing.
